Privacy and cookies
This site is a shop window: it sells nothing, has no login area and asks you to register for nothing. Here is what happens to data when you open it, in plain words.
Who handles the data

Cookies: there are none
This site sets no cookies, neither technical nor profiling ones, and does not use browser storage to recognise you. That is why there is no consent banner: there would be nothing to consent to.
The only thing your browser keeps is a copy of the pages so they open again on a slow or missing connection. That copy is technical, it stays on your device and never comes back to us.
Anonymous statistics
We count how many times a page is opened and how many times the phone button, the TheFork button and the directions button are pressed. The counter is ours, it stays on this server and records only the name of the event, the page and the day.
We store no IP addresses and no device identifiers, and there is no way back to an individual: these are totals, not tracked visits.
Third-party services
The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other servers: type, animation and photographs all live here. As long as you are reading, no third party knows you came.
The Google map loads only if you press the button that asks for it; from that moment the connection is with Google, under Google's own privacy policy.
Links to TheFork, TripAdvisor and Google Maps open other companies' sites: what happens after the click is governed by their terms, not by this page.
When you write or call
There is no form on this site. If you email or phone us to book, we use your name and contact details only to reply and hold the table: that is carrying out your request, not marketing. We pass nothing to anyone and we send no advertising.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing (Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679). An email to info@sanicolo.it is enough.
If you believe something is wrong, you can contact the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If the site changes, this page changes with it: the date below says when the current version was written.
